Wales Needs Immigration, UK Government Needs To Listen

Wales is a part of the United Kingdom and it is one of the top places that definitely needs the help of immigration. However, the government of the Britain has yet to stop and listen to what Wales is saying and clamoring for. All of these are according to Chris Bryant. Bryant used to be a minister of the Shadow Home Office.

There are still discussions happening and some of the members of the Parliament have been trying to limit the number for immigration in the country. However, there are other members who believe that the limit is not something that they should do. In fact, with Wales needing the help of those coming in through immigration, this should not be an issue at all.

Staff shortage in Wales

With immigration, the staff shortages that are currently happening in Wales should be fixed. This is according to Member of the Parliamenet and Labour member Chris Bryant. He said that in Wales and its National Health Service (NHS), there is a need for more workers. Not limiting immigration to the country should be able to help fill up those roles.

Of course, it is important for Wales to speak out about this issue that they have. That way, the national government should be able to do something about it and help them out.

Aside from that, Bryant also continued to state that the national government of Britain should be alert and should learn how to listen to what the other nations of the country are saying. It is important that they do so.

What the UK government is doing

As for the side of the United Kingdom government, it said that it is actually working on things right now. In fact, it said that a system is currently being worked on and they are designing it to be something that should work for everybody in the country. Right now, it is still in the works and so there are no in-depth details about it just yet.

Bryant though said that the current appeals done by the British government is not something that he is a fan of. In fact, he does not like it at all. The appeals from the government are actually to devolve immigration that is focused on Wales. This devolvement should be done in part and not in whole. But still, Bryant claims that this is not going to help out Wales much.

This viewpoint is not necessarily just Bryant’s. Jeremy Corbyn also had stated that the whole thought was something that would be coming with a lot of difficulties. Corbyn is known for his viewpoint regarding immigration to the UK and that it is something that the country needs. He is also the current leader of the Labour Party.
