Corbyn Still Maintains UK Immigration Not Too High

Jeremy Corbyn has been quite vocal about his thoughts and his beliefs on the immigration in the United Kingdom. Although there have been other Members of the Parliament who would like to lessen the number of people coming in as immigrants, Corbyn has been quite vocal when it comes to disagreeing with this.

For him, the numbers of UK immigration are not even too high to put some kind of restraint over it.

His thoughts on immigration to Britain

One of the plans of the United Kingdom government to be able to curb the number of immigrants coming into the country would be to actually deal with the wages of the country’s employed. If this becomes reality, then, according to Corbyn, the chances of getting new and skilled workers would go down as well. The country would not be able to afford that.

Jeremy Corbyn is the current leader of the Labour Party. Recently, he was scheduled to make a speech where people are expecting that he would be stating that even after Britain’s exit from the European Union (EU), the country will be going even better.

But, of course, those are just expectations. What Corbyn though has done is he has already made up his mind and he has declared that immigration is still a very important part of the United Kingdom economy.

He was also interviewed by BBC and was asked about the number of immigrants coming to the country. BBC asked if he thought if the numbers were too high. Corbyn stated that the number were not.

With that, Corbyn is set on saying that companies in the country are trying to exploit all of its workers and it does not matter if they are immigrants or not. With lowered wages, individuals interested in moving to the country just may be deterred.

These individuals who have moved to the country have huge contributions in running the country’s health services and even in agriculture. They also help with education and even in manufacturing.

Corbyn continued to disclose that those who have come to the country are quite passionate about being able to contribute to the country. They are able to do this by working hard and paying the right amount in taxes. Keep these people out, and the country may just have yet to feel the grunt of having lesser immigrants in the country.
